Show MRS. FANNIE SIMONS, UTAH PIONEER, DIES Special to The Tribune. PAYSOX. Dec. 22 Mrs. Fannie Simons Sim-ons died at her home Thurasday afternoon. after-noon. Mrs. Simons was born September 6. 18-16. in Port worth, England, and came to Utah in 1S."S with a brother and sister. sis-ter. They lived in Salt Iake for a short time and then came to Payson. In 1S59 she was married to John Zun-dell. Zun-dell. They lived in Nevada for several years and then came back to Payson. After fifteen years of married life, in 1S74 their first child was bom. Mr. Zun-dell Zun-dell died the same year. The next year Sirs. Zundell married Gustave Simons, who died in 1SSS. Two children survive, Mrs. Wilmer Carter Car-ter und Mrs. Joseph Gripes, both of Eureka. Eu-reka. Eleven grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren great-grandchildren survive. Mrs. Simons was the bead of the Relief Re-lief society burial committee for forty years. |
