JOHN A. BROWN DIES AT PROVO RESIDENCE Special to The Tribune. PROVO, Dec. 22. John A. Brown dle-d at his home in the Fifth ward this afternoon after-noon from paralysis, following a lingering linger-ing illness-Mr. illness-Mr. Brown was a native of Provo. He wa s 60 years of age. He was for ma ny years a peace officer sheriff of Utah county for two and a half terms and city marshal for three terms. For several rears he was special agent of the D. & R. G. I He is survived by his wife and the : fo'lowing children: James A., Walter C, Don C. and Earl Brown. Mrs. Charles Jl. Allen and Mrs. J. R. Storrs and many .other relatives. It is expected the funeral fu-neral will te held Tuesday.
