Show TDRREON ATTACKED BI GENERAL VILLA American Refugee Brings News to Border ; Rebel Activities Increase. EL PASO. Tex., Bee. 22. All American Ameri-can and other foreigners have left Tor-reon, Tor-reon, which Villa is reported to be attacking, at-tacking, according to an American arriving ar-riving here tonight from that district by way of Eagle Pass. The last of the foreigners, who intended to remain as long as they dared, came out about a week ago, he said. On his way to the border the American passed eight troop trains, which were said to be destined for Torreon to reinforce the garrison there. This garrison js under the command com-mand of General Palamantes, and is composed of -000 Yaqui Indians, according accord-ing to the same authority. There has been a considerable increase in rebel activities in south central Mexico Mex-ico the past few weeks, the refugee said, including the capture of the large town of San Pedro, some miles to the east of Torreon on the railway line to Monterey.
