Harvard uncovered a new drop-kicker and placement kicker in the person of Fond, w.io came through on his only attempt at-tempt with a neatly executed field goal from the thirly-three-yard line and scored five goals from touchdowns in as many tries. Crimson Team Shines. The Crimson team showed as brilliantly on the defensive as in Its offensive plav. Wheeler repeatedly broke through the line and tackled Virginia for losses. Other uic team wonted almost as effectively as Wheeler, holding Virginia to but four first downs during the entire game. Virginia sprang a surprise in working a lateral pass Jn the kick-off which opened the second half. The receiving back hurled the ball halfway across the field to one of his mates near the side lines who carried it fifteen yards before Harvard Har-vard stoppe.l him.
