Fruitola is a pure fruit oil that acts as an intestinal lubricant and disintegrates the hardened'particles that cause so much suffering, discharging discharg-ing the accumulated waste to the sufferer's intense relief. One dose is usually sufficient to indicate its efficacy. Traxo is a tonic-alterative that is most effective effec-tive to rebuild and restore the weakened, rundown system. My - r Side ' '2 Dental ;v Question "ft'iT. x ' " y The Sins of 1 C A Omission and y , Commission of the V M'X Dental Profession, " Js as I See Them. I have been asked many times lately, jnsl; what differences dif-ferences existed between myself and the "Ethical" Dental Trust, and why those differences could not be adjusted, and "all hands settle down to making money." If it were simply a question of "making money" we would have adjusted, or perhaps ignored, our differences long ago ; but I have committed myself to this fight for Dental Freedom because of the principles involved, and until un-til I bring about the reforms the people demand there can be no adjustment, nor even a compromise. I am frank to admit I have not found fighting for the people unprofitable in fact, I have been very successful 1 and if the Dental Trust members were as wise as they are zealous they would see the wisdom of conceeding the people their rights. I claim that when a body of Dentists are banded together for the purpose of maintaining high prices for Dental Work, and agree not to cut those prices, It constitutes a vicious Tru3t and Is a menace to the i health and comfort of the community. I claim that agreeing to a uniform fee, which all Dentists must 8 charge regardless of skill or ability, Is placing a premium on lncompe-I lncompe-I tence and discouraging honest effort on the part of the individual to B become proficient. g I claim it is a fraud upon the public to base the price the patient I must pay for Dental work upon the ability of the LEAST EXPERT OF B THE PEOFESSION to turn out the work (UNDER GREAT HANDI- I I CAPS) at a profit. And yet that la exactly the basis of the Dental n I Pee Bill. . I I I claim that practically All Extractions can be made painless, and that pain can be materially reduced or eliminated in other Dental I work. The fear of the public of the dental chair (which I am happily I B overcoming every day) is due to the incompetence or "The Public Be I Damned" indifference of the Dental Trust alone. 1 AND I DEMAND 9 That any regular graduate of a reputable Dental College who has K satisfactorily passed a State examination and has been issued a license to 0 practice in this State be entitled to advertise when and where he desires, - so long as he confines his statements to absolute truth, and ADVERTISES 1 OVER HIS OWN NAME ONLY, AND PATS TOR HIS ADVERTISING. f I agree fully with the "Ethical" Dentists that the use of deceptive I 9 firm names and "Dental Parlors," THAT CONCEAL THE NAME OF I THE DENTIST RESPONSIBLE, Is objectionable, admits of abuses and J fraud and lowers the Dentist's services from the level of a profession j to that of a business or trade, and that advertising under fake titles, fictitious names and pretended "new methods," etc. Is misleading, and should not be tolerated under the law. I claim that by gathering together a faculty of Dental Specialists and Expert Mechanical Dentists, and SYSTEMATIZING THE PRACTICE PRAC-TICE OF DENTISTRY on business principles, I am able to guarantee both the scientific and mechanical workmanship and turn out better Dentistry Den-tistry at half the cost than under the old-time one-man-office system. I admit, with other Dentists, Doctors and Scientists, that the life of Dental work depends a great deal upon the human tissues and that B the Dentist cannot guarantee the tissue. BUT I do not agree that it ab-n ab-n solves the Dentists from all responsibility and I hold that they should a guarantee operating proficiency, mechanical perfection and antiseptic 8 precautions In each and every case and make good, free of charge, any jj work that proves defective. 8 These are a few of the reasons why I cannot agree with my profes- 3 eional brethren and why they do not agTee with me. I am content to 1 let the people choose between us. 1 MY PRICES FOE GUARANTEED WORK Painless Extraction 25o Bridge Work, $3.50 per tooth j Gold Crowns $3.50 Rubber Plates $5.00 Up All other work proportionately low. The People's Sugar Company has contracts with nearly 700 fanners in Sanpete County to raise sugar beets on over 4500 acres for three years, 1917-1918-1919. ! The Company has purchased the necessary beet seed for next year's planting. ! It has selected and secured an excellent site for the fac tory one and one-half miles south of Moroni, in the center f a large beet area, where beets from 2000 to 2500 acres will be teamed to the factory next year. James Stewart & Company, Inc., have contracted to erect the factory and have already placed orders, for some of the important machinery.
