Show GREGORY SPEAKS IN CLOSING RALLY AT LOUISVILLE LOUISVILLE, Ky.ANov. 4. Attorney General Thomas Vv . Gregory, speaking here tonight at the closing "rally of the local Democratic campaign, praised the course of President Wilson m dealing with foreign nations and his handling of the Mexican situation. President Wilson, he said, "stands for the preservation of American rights, and peace with all nations so long as peace can be honorably- maintained, ' ' and that it was upon that basis that his foreign policy had been predicated. Referring to attacks upon the Adam-son Adam-son law aa being not an hours-of-labor law, but a wage-fixing law, he asserted that "by fixing an eight-hour work day as the basis for payment it supplies a compelling inducement to the railroads to limit or restrict the hours of labor to eight hours.
