Show VOTE, AND VOTE "NO." We again urge all citizens not to overlook over-look the. amendment of article 13 of the constitution when voting next Tuesday. Since the facts regarding the history and intent of this vicious proposal became be-came known there ha been no doubt as to its fate if voters do not allow ; their interest in - political candidates and issues to engross their entire attention at-tention to the exclusion of the amendment. amend-ment. It is unfortunately true that in the i past the vote on constitutional amendments amend-ments has been light, a fact upon which the proponents of the pending amendment amend-ment no doubt relied chiefly for success. ; We sincerely trust the voters of the . state will make this year a conspicuous ! exception to the usual rule by registering register-ing a tremendous volume of negative ' votes against the taxation monstrosity presented to them in the amendment of article 13. The space for voting on the amendment amend-ment will bo found at the bottom of the official ballot, and the voter's cross should be placed in the square next to the word "No."" The tax amendment is designated as "Question 2" on the official ballot of Salt Lake county and may easily be identified on the ballots in other counties by the words "Article 13." |
