Show PARTY OF OFFICIALS DUE LATE TONIGHT A special train containing a. number of tho most prominent railroad officials of the west is due to arrive in this city late tonight. On the train are Judge R. 8. Lovett, chairman of the bbard of directors or the Union. Pacific system; President E. E. Calvin of the Union Pacific; B. L. Winchell, traffic director of the Union Pacific; E. E. Adams, consulting engineer; General Manager H. V. Piatt of the Oregon Short Line; D. S. Spencer, general passenger pas-senger agent of the Oregon Short Line, and a few others. The party is coming from Portland direct, instead of going south to San Francisco and Los Angeles before visiting this city. W. A. Harri-man, Harri-man, vice president of the company, was a member of the party as far as Portland, but was compelled to return east. A luncheon will be given in their honor tomorrow at the Commercial club. |
