East High 6 West High 7 The East high Leopards, who have yet to find the word breaks in their vocabulary, were nosed out of what appeared certain victory In the fourth quarter by the "West high Panthers. 7 to 6, In a wonderful battle on Cummlnss field. As was evident after the game, the Leopard fans were still loyal to their players and vowed they hud the better bunch. Stiefel Big Staiv The star of the game was Ma uric Stiefel, who was half the Panther aprjre-frntton. aprjre-frntton. It was he who kept the men fighting after there appeared Utile hope, and It was a fllting close for him to do all the scoring. This is the final game for Stiefel against the Leopards and he closes his high school athletic career with the Jordan game. November 18. He intends to enter the University at midyear.
