Show WOMEN ANXIOUS TO SERVE AS SOLDIERS LONDON, Nov. 4. Many Englishwomen English-women feel aggrieved because the government govern-ment will not accept them as soldiers. One of these writes to the Blackpool Tribunal as follows: Why can't we women go to the war when we are anxious? We can use a rifle as well as any man, and I should be delighted to go Into the infantry, in-fantry, artillery or any service. I have wanted to go since the war began. be-gan. I have very strong nerves and have been in several aeroplanes. I have been In a women's training corps, but walking about In khaki with nothing to do Js no use to me. If vou can't find mo something to do I shall go out to France In my khaki, and they will have to find me something to do. Some of us would soon bo decorated with the V. C. |
