Show WATER FILINGS ARE MADE WITH STATE Water filings made in the office of the state engineer recently have all been upon small flows, except for that of the Huntington Canal & Irrigation company, which is an application for 600 acre feet of the water of Lake Fork, a tributary of Huntington creek, to be used in irrigating irri-gating 12,160 acres of land in Emery county. Moses C. Boren of Nela has made application ap-plication for 1 2-5 second feet of the water of McNemee wash. In the Uinta valley, for the purpose of Irrigating fortv-five fortv-five acres of land. For mining and culinary purposes John W. Taylor and Thomas F. Pierpont have made application for one-tenth of one second sec-ond foot of water from the Taylor spring near Eureka. Eutimo Duran of Thompson applied for two second feet of the flow of Thompson Thomp-son creek for the purpose of Irrigating 160 acres of land. |
