Show LAND OFFICE CHIEF GOING. TO ARIZONA H. S. HInrichs, chief of the local field division of the United States land office, of-fice, has left for Preston, Ariz., where he will be present at the trial of E. B. Franklin, defendant In a suit brought by tli e government to settle the rights of cattlemen in southern Utah and nothern Arizona to drain water holes used by sheepmen. The Franklin case is one of a number that have grown out of the long-standint? differences between the sheep and cattlemen of that district. W. J. Hanna, also a special agent for the field division of the land office, has been transferred to Helena, Mont. J. G. Hillman of Jackson, Miss., has arrived to lake the place vacated by Mr. Hanna. |
