Show PROGRESSIVES FUSE WITH REPUBLICANS Special to The Tribune. VER.VAL, July C6. In response to a call issued by Chairman N". .C. Hardy and Secretary W. S. Henderson of the Progressive Pro-gressive party and County Chairman Walla e Cak'.er and Sec retary Benjamin P. Kelly of the Republican party, about srenty-five prominent Kepuoiieans and Progressives met yesterday afternoon at the county courthouse to talk over the plans for the fusion of the two parties in Uinta county. Chairman Wallace Culder presided, but eave way when F. J. Young. Jr., was elected permanent chairman and J. K. Wat kins, secretary. The more prominent promi-nent Progressives and Republicans made talks' on fusion and the burying of past differences. Those who spoke were Wallace Wal-lace Cakier, Earl Thompson. Frank Well-man, Well-man, Charles DeMoisy. ieor?e A. Siaugh. Enos P.ennlon. Anton S:rehle and W. S. Henderson. After an extended discussion discus-sion George A. Slaugh made a motion that the two parties "'get toeether, stay t aether and defeat the Democrats." It was carried by a rising' vote". Several of those present came from as far as Iee-ton. Iee-ton.
