Show WILL RESUME WORK ON THE REVELATGR Company Has Been Financed Fi-nanced by Salt Lake Mining Men. Hpecia) to The Tribune. PARK CITY, July 26. Mining operations opera-tions will be resumed tomorrow on the" Revelator Mining company's properly, located lo-cated in the Snake Creek district, just to Ihe south of Park City proper. It is understood un-derstood that the company has been negotiating ne-gotiating with Salt Iake mining men for some time past relative to financing the company and that the negotiations have been concluded In a satisfactory manner. A campaign of development work has been outlined that is expected to put the property on a paying basis in the near future and also to add another shipper to the steadily growing list. Before operations were suspended on the property an ore body was encountered encoun-tered that occurs along the contact between be-tween the quartzite and the limestone formation at the intersection of the bedding bed-ding planes, that is converging toward the main tlssure at a point ahtad of the present breast. This ore body was cut ui the tunnel. Average samples of the ore returned 223.60 ounces in silver, 6 . 4 per cent in lead and 1.20 in gold to the ton. The ore body was struck In the main tunnel and the new plan of development work is to sink a winze on the ore body and follow it down. It is proposed to sink this winze on the fissure that is believed be-lieved to be responsible for the ore. Where first encountered the ore body occurred oc-curred at a point about 150 feet from the surface, and it is believed that when greater depth is attained it will be found to be much larger in dimensions. Before operations were suspended it had been followed for about fifty feet, and averaged aver-aged about ten inches in width. Considerable importance is attached to the new plan of development work, as the ore Is In place' and makes in the Assure As-sure and bedding planes of the normal dip and strike of the Park City formation. |
