Show DELLA DAYNES HILLS IS GRANTED DIVORCE Terms of Separation From Lewis B. Hills Provide for Permajient Alimony. Coupled with an agreement providing terms of separation, a decree was issued yesterday by Judge F. C. Loofbourow granting a divorce to Delia Daynes Hills from Lewis B. Hills. The' complaint, I with the signed articles of agreement, 1 was filed and the decree granted in less than thirty minutes. The complaint charged cruelty on the part of the defendant and stated that the instances had. been so numerous that no specific instances could be cited. It was alleged in a general way that the plaintiff wife had been caused great mental distress and physical suffering suf-fering through the vmgovcrnable temper tem-per of the defendant, that he frequently Jiad approached her "in a threatening and hostile manner ' ' and had used "threatening and abusive language'7 toward to-ward her. When she had attempted to escape by running into other rooms, it was alleged, the defendant had blocked the plaintiff and prevented her flight. The complaint also alleged that the defendant nad ' ' conducted himself him-self as if he were insane.'" The allegation allega-tion was also made that the two children chil-dren of the family would at times flee from the father in terror. Under the agreement signed with the decree the family home at G2 First avenue is to be deeded to a trustee to be held for the use of the plaintiff "as long as she Vremains unmarried.' ' She also takes the household furniture. It is also stipulated that the wife shall receive $45 a month alimony as lonT as she remains unmarried. The eustodv of the two children is given 1 to the mother, and an allowance of $25 a month for each granted so long as they remain in the custody of the plaintiff and until they either marry or reach the age of 21 years. The agreement stipulates that its terms are in settlement of permanent alimony and that no further demands shall be made on the defendant, no matter what his future financial standing stand-ing may become. |
