Show NEW MINING COMPANY FORMED AT HAILEY Special to The Tribune. HAILBY, Idaho, July 26. Articles of incorporation of the Silver-Lead Mining company were filed Monday for record. The purpose of the company Is to carry on a general mining and smelting business. busi-ness. The principal place of business is at Halley and the term of existence Is for twenty vears. The capital stock of said corporation is $200,000, divided into 200,000 shares of the par value of $1 each. Article seven provides that the whole amount of the capital stock shall be fully subscribed and paid up by the conveyance to said corporation by the said George H. Ish and Jennie Jackson of the following fol-lowing described mining property, and by the claim for legal services rendered said corporation by said Attorney H. F. Ensign: En-sign: The Venture, Venture No. 2 and Bill Boy lode claims, in Mineral Hill mining min-ing district. The amount, of stock actually subscribed is 200,000 shares, as follows: George Ish, 99,800 shares; Jennie Jackson, 100,000 shares; H. F. Ensign, 200 shares. The number of directors is three and the above-named parties will constitute the board for the first year. The group of claims to be developed by the new company adjoins the Nay Aug mine in Nay Aug gulch, a tributary to Deer creek. Several openings on the group show ore, and the first work will be to continue a tunnel that is now in 200 feet on the Venture claim to cut the vein and obtain a depth of 225 or 250 feet. There Is upon the property about a 300-foot extension of the Nay Aug vein. The company starts off with no debts to meet and will pay up its bills as work progresses. The prospect Is one of the most promising in the Wood River region and the proposition Is regarded as a fine one. Major Fred R. Reed is the business manager and Raymond Guyer, C. E., is the engineer in charge. |
