Show POPLAR GROVE MAY GET NEW BUILDING Plan Is Evolved by Means of Which School District Stands Chance of Getting Its Auditorium. That the Poplar Grove school district dis-trict will receive its much sought for auditorium seems likely under plans agreed upon by H. D. Bowman, superintendent super-intendent of buildings and grounds, and I Architect C. S. McDonald yesterday. After a revision of the plans for I the addition of the six new classrooms ; and domestic science and training rooms, ' it has been found practicable to in- elude within the appropriation for this improvement an auditorium that will be capable of seating from 2j0 to 3U0 persons. ! At last Tuesday night's meeting of the school board it was decided that because be-cause of a lack of sufficient funds the I question of an auditorium in the Pop-! Pop-! lar Grove district should be deferred for one year or until sufficient funds were available. Under tho new plans devised by Mr. McDonald and Superintendent Bowman, however, the auditorium may be constructed con-structed immediately in conjunction with the authorized new classrooms. |
