Show OIKS FINALLY III BALL GAME; SPEEDJS KEflO After Eleven Straight Defeats De-feats Elliotteers Beat the Beavers in Eleventh Inning. Special to The Tribune. SAN FBANCISCO, July 13. It was virtually the first comeback of Speed Martin, for while the sensational sensa-tional lad, who has been out these many weeks with a broken hand did start in Los Angeles, it was not for a full session. Todav he demonstrated that he is still a factor to be reckoned with. After dally incr along for ten innings the Oaks slipped over the winning run in this fashion. Rube Gardner, with a long hit to left, landed on first. Barry .bunted and Bradley swatted to center to send Eube to second, and Berger drove him home with a smash to right. PORTLAND. AB. R. H. PO. A.
