Show CREDITORS SEEKING EUREKA MERCHANT Creditors of C. E. Holmes, merchant of Eureka, yesterday filed a petition in the United States district court to have him declared an involuntary bankrupt. bank-rupt. Among the principal creditors are the Z. C. M. I., the Symns Utah Grocery company and the Nelson & Ricks company. The " creditors place Holmes's liabilities at $2477.36 and his assets, mostly current accounts, at $2001.92. It'is alleged that Holmes recently re-cently held a sale of goods at which prices were cut far below cost and then departed without leaving a forwarding address. He has not as yet been located. F. P. Carlisle, a laborer of Salt Lake, yesterday filed a petition for voluntary bankruptcy, alleging that his liabilities amount to $2461. So. while to meet these he has but $50 worth of property. Twenty-five dollars of this amount he claims exemption for. |
