Show DR. BEATTY SPEAKS AT TAYLORSVILLE United Commercial Clubs of County Havo Prepared an Interesting Meeting Programme. The united commercial clubs of tho southern part of Salt Lake county will give a programme at Taylorsville this evening at S o'clock. Dr. T. 23. Beatty. secretary of the state board of health, will bo the principal speaker and will give an illustrated lecture. Dr. Beatty emphasized tho care of tho farm in his lecture at Sandy before this club and paid extended attention to the house fly and its extermination. Sncciul arrangements havo been made for transportation from tho Murray Mur-ray car line to Taylorsville. Carriages and automobiles will moot all Murray, Sandy and Midvalc cars from 6:45 till 7:30 p. m. This transnortation will hn t'uruished free to all the applicants who notify President J. W. McHonry of the united clubs before noon today. to-day. Somo difficulty has been eucoun-tcrcd eucoun-tcrcd in tho other meetings of tho club in furnishing transportation. Nearly ovcry member of the club has promised to supply some kind of vehicle ve-hicle for this purposo and there will-be will-be plenty if the president of the clubs be applied to bctoro no.on today. Dr. Beatty will lecture on ''Deaths That Occur from Preventable Diseases," Dis-eases," which will be the main feature on thei programme. Music and readings read-ings will be furnished bv residents of Taylorsville, which will 'be among the best that have ever been given by tho club. |
