SIcbcrt today announced that ho would close up his business affairs In this city and state and remove with his family, at an early date, to South America, says tho Reno Gazette. Mr. SIcbcrt plans to open an office at Santiago San-tiago dp Chile. He la backed In his now enterprise by eastern' people. Ho plans to look over the country thoroughly and acquire, develop and oporato mines, giving giv-ing attention also to transportation and oro reduction enterprises. The Journey will he undertaken immediately im-mediately after the launching of the battleship bat-tleship Nevada, which will bo christened by little Miss SIcbcrt. At this time Professor J. E. Spur of the United States geological survey gave the Sicbert tufa their name, the formation being a volcanic nsh, Important as a key to all faulting In the Tonopah and Coldfield districts, otherwise known as the Sicbert Sic-bert Inkc beds. Mr. Slebcrt discovered the significance of this formation. After spending a year on the coast, Mr. Sicbert returned to Tonopah and became consulting engineer for the Mohawk-Combination lease. At the expiration ex-piration of the leasehold in April. 1908, he became connected with Georgo Wlng-flcld Wlng-flcld and has ever since been consulting consult-ing engineer for tho Novada. Hills Mining Min-ing company and the Buckhorn Mines company, as well as engaging In general field work for Mr. Wlngflcld. |
