Iowa, April 8 Progressive Pro-gressive leaders of Iowa succeeded in bringing out candidates for practically every stato office and for a number of congressional and county places at a state conference here today. George White of Nevada is tbo party nominee for governor. Other nominalions for state offices were: K. B. Betty of Davenport, Lieutenant Lieuten-ant Governor'W. J. Sinvard of Archer, secretary of state; II. D. Tndc of Hills-boro, Hills-boro, treasurer; M. U. Wcldy of Dc3 Moines, attorney general, and F. H. Keys of Council Bluffs and h. R. Rose-bro'ok Rose-bro'ok of Oskaloosa for railroad commissioners. com-missioners. No candidate for state auditor was named, but J. B. Frudcn of Dubuque will probablv ee( the place if ho will accept.
