Ritchie said that he became disgusted with the management of the match with Fieddlc Welsh, the British champion, to have been held at Vancouver September 20. The wealthy men who had promised to guarantee the purse, he said, refused yesterday to accept responsibility and Ritchie and his manager decided to break camp and call the match off.
