Show CRIMINAL CALENDAR LONG. Numerous Alleged Offenders Face Judge During Day's Session. Special to The Tribune. OGDBN, Sept. 10. Many criminal cases received the attention of Judge J. A. Howell at today's session bf the Second district court. Frank Powell, charged with grand larceny, entered a plea of not guilty and Attorney R. IT. Baumunk was appointed by the court to take his case. The three companions of Powell, Ralph Leheay. Ralph Rackcr and George Black, were also In court for arraignment arraign-ment on charges of grand larceny, but on the suggestion of the district attorney attor-ney their picas will not be taken until Friday. Bert Anderson entered a. plea of not guilty to the charge of second -degree burglary and has employed an attorney to represent him. No date was set for the trial. It Is charged that Anderson entered the sporting goods store of T. S. Hutchinson. 80G Twenty-fifth street, on tho evening of September 1. and was In the act of carrying away goods valued at $G5. The attorney having filed an affidavit of impecuniouslty, an order was Issued to the effect that all -witnesses for the defendant in the case of the state against August Bodh, charged with attempted murder, be brought Into court at tho expense ex-pense of tho state. Bodh Phot and Injured In-jured Doputy Sheriff J. L. Tlobson when tho officer attempted to arrest him on the night of July 25 for fighting. |
