Show Programme Partly Arranged for Big Day at Wan da mere September Fifth. PARADE WILL BE FEATURE OF OUTING Over Five Hundred Dollars Will Be Given in Casli Prizes. The Salt Lake Federation of Labor and the lJulldlng Trados council held a meeting Sunday morning, at which lltirly-slv dllferent unions were represented. repre-sented. The purpose of ihc meeting was to arrange the Labor day programme, which Is to be carried out at Wandamcre, September S. Tho programme for the .day was not dctlnltely arranged, but all preparations for the parade wero settled and, besides the prizes for the parade, li was decided thai ffiOO would be given away on the grounds In cash prizes. Mayor Kransford and Chief of Police Harlow have slgnliled their willingness to act as Judges of thu parade, In which all the labor unions of tho city will take part. The parade will form at tho Federation of Labor hall at 10 o'clock In the morning morn-ing and tho men will march to Main stn'ot on Fourth South sircot, up Main .street, to Pioneer monument, around the monument and back to Fourth South, west on Fourth South to West Temple, north on West Temple to the Building Trades council hall In the Commercial club building, where the pnrado will end and everyone will repair to Wandamcre, where the day's celebration will lake place. The programme for the celobra-tlon celobra-tlon Is being prepared and will be published pub-lished in detail next Sunday. About all that Is known of It now Is that ?n00 will he given away in cash prizes, besides the amount paid for prizes in the parade. Form of Parade. The parade will be formed ns follows: 1. Fire department, platoon of police, hand, officers of the federation, retail clerks, allied printing trades council, coun-cil, typographical union, press feeders and assistants, stcreotypers, bookbinders, photo engravors, mailers and cigar makers. mak-ers.
