Show IB Marketing the Peaches. H Special to The Tribune PROVO. -Aug, L'S. The Crawford j peaches grown here are now practically all marketed. Good prices have been J realized, 55 cents per crate, or $1.05 a B bushel, for those shipped, and In some instances a greater price has been re- ceived for home consumption. The El- berta crop of peaches will bo on In a few days, and busy times are anticipated In and around shipping points while the season lasts. The crop will be a big one, although the frost did considerable damage In some sections, and where the smudge pots were not used. In some localities, however, there Is a good crop where no artificial heat was used. |
