Now Pastor Beaver M, E. Church. Special to Tho Tribune. BEAVER, Aug. 28. The Rov. lsllo Jonos, D.D., chosen to fill tho p.astorato of the First Methodist church at Beaver at tho recent conforenco at Provo. Ir. expected ex-pected to arrive here to take chargo of the local church early next month. Dr Jonos will succeed the Rev. R. G. Clark, who, after serving the local church for the last year, will return lo Oregon, whero he was formerly stationed, and will be a professor in history In tho high school In La Grande. Dr. Jones will bo the principal of the Beaver academy, acad-emy, which will open for pupils September Septem-ber fi next, in connection with tho church work.
