II MEN IMPLICATED If CHI'S CONFESSION One Man . Is Under Arrest and Officers Are After the Other. t Ruby Young, 17 years old, charged in the Juvenilo court with immorality, has mado confessions that implicate two men on serious charges, and ono of tho two men, Charles Clark, about 22 years old, has been arrested and is being be-ing held a prisoner in the county jail pending further investigation of the case. The other man implicated is a soldier from Fort Douglas, and the officers arc now searching for him. Both men will bo charged with committing a statutory statu-tory offense against tho girl. Miss Young came to this city from Mammoth recently. After living with an aunt hero, according to her story, she went to work in a private family as a domestic. Under promises ot marriage, mar-riage, tho soldier, sho savs, worked her ruin. Apparently tho girl then took np ! with Clark, with whom she was arrested iu a rooming-houso by Deputy Sheriffs Spcrry and Eddington. Tho girl was. presented in tho Juvenile court Wednesday, but her father and undo appeared and went hor bond and sho was released. Chief Probation Officer Guardello Brown says that it is difficult to obtain convictions in cases" of this kind, and an appeal may bo mado to the noxt Legislature for more stringent laws. Divorces are responsible for somo of tho evil, Mr. Brown believes. legal separations breaking up tho home and frequently leaving girls of tender ages without tho proper parental care.
