Not that lie has attained at-tained famo politically or otherwise but-In but-In the matter of venturing a guess he was so successful that he is the proud possessor pos-sessor of a handsome gold and llver medal. Back In 1SD5, when ho was actively ac-tively interested in politics, more so than today on account of now being engaged in business, he was joklnglv asked to guess on the vote to be polled In Utah that year. At that tlmo a small paper was running a guess column Air. Gray tried several times andcach time, It lat-4 appeared, brought him nearer to tho mark. When tho election returns had been finally counted and posted It was found that he had come within an evn dozen of the exact number polled. Ills guess was 41.391 and the total vote was II. -103. For this he was awarded a medal made" by the lato E. J.
