The surplus after tho pavment of interest, dividends, etc., was 2o;',324, a decreaso of 3,099,517, oi 93.1 per cent. Tho compulsory reduction of passenger rates in many states Is blamed for a decrease In passenger revenues reve-nues of J239.2S9. The number of passengers passen-gers carried one mile Increased 15.73 per cent, but the faro received per passenger mile was 2.15 cents, a decrease of four mills. |
