This morning Eran Brandrcct, a boy about 18 years old, was found nearly frozen to death In a cabin near tho slono quarry. Brandrcgt Isa Hollander Hol-lander and has not been In this country very long Ho haa been working upon tho streets of Salt Lake City for several weeks, and upon getting out of employment decided to walk to Park City In search of work. Ho and a man, whos6 namo younc Brandrcct doon not know, started from Bait. Lake two days oko. ' Progress wan slow and they wero overtaken over-taken by tho etonru which made It much slower. Finally, whon thoy reached the cabin tho boy was so nearly worn out that he went In to ix-st. Ilia companion enmo on and left him thoro and said nothing of tho Incident. This morning James Dunsmoro chanced to pass by tho cabin, and upon looking In discovered discov-ered tho frozen boy Dunsmoro put the boy In his cart and brought him to tho hospital. At Ural It was feared that the limbs would havo to bo amputated, but now It Is believed that such will not bo necessary. A now cable lo being put In on the Silver King aerial tramway today. Whllo the old one was still In a fnlr condition, yet the company Is dcslrou.i that absolute nafcty shall murk tho condition of tho tramway at all times. To this end they have ever kept the cablo In llrst-class condition. James Lockhart left Sunday for Ocdcn to attend court but waa recalled yoaterday by tho sorlous Illness of his llitlo boy, who hnH pneumonia. At present tho condition cf tho little fellow Is somowhat Improved. |
