Rogors of the Standard Oil and Amalgamated companies has secured a report from Goneral Manager Channing of tho Utah Consolidated on the possibility possi-bility of United States mining from Its Utah operations under the most adverse conditions with copper at 12 cents per pound Mr. Channing reported to him that tho company should earn between $1,300,000 and $1,400,000 per year from lis Utah operations, with 12 cent copper from Its Bingham smelter alone." Manager Channing of the Utah Con., to whom the dispatch was submitted, said last night that he had made no oxamlnA Hon whatever of tho properties at an one's oollcllaflon, nor has ho volunteered any statement concerning the company's earnings or Its resources.
