Kent of tho Yellow Pino Mining company hao a large forco of men at work on the Blbcc group in Porphyry Gulch, where the company has a good showing In tho way of a four-foot vein of copper and lead ore. A E. Wiley of "Los Angeles has been hero during the week and Is greatly Impressed Im-pressed with tho district. Ho has offers for three groups which aro among the most promising In tho camp. Tho hills aro rilling up with prospectors from Bullfrog and Goldlleld, and some important discoveries havo been made. , A large area of virgin ground rcinalna i unexplored in this district for prospectors. us a district rule prevents pencil locations. loca-tions. , Harry Hardy leaves this week for his Uintah gold group. It is thought this property will report to the smeltors soon, as It has ono of the greatest showings in camp. Albert Munsebrock, formerly of Tintlc, Utah, has commenced tho construction of a stone building on his Oldenboy group. It will bo used as an assay office and residence. John Meyers, who has operated In Utah, Montana and Nevada, has located here, and is much pleased at tho abundance of open ground. Ho owns a promising group of claims at Bullfrog, adjoining the great Lbdd property. The old Potosl mine, which Is being operated by Salt Lakers, will ship Its output to, the valley smelters. It Is understood un-derstood that freight contracts for the handling of the output have already, boon made. |
