Show LOGAN RAISES $8300 OF $25,000 FOR TROLLEY LINE Special to The Tribune. LOGAN, Nov. IP. The proposition for tho construction of a street railway in tho city of Logan by David Eccles of Ogden, Is meeting with unexpected on-couragemcnt on-couragemcnt hero. Mr. Eccles proposed to supply J15.000 of tho $10,000 necessary to build tho road, on condition that the citizens of Logan furnish tho $25,000. A meeting was called of representative business men. the matter was discussed and a committee was appointed to solicit capital, consisting of II. E. Hatch. W. J. Kerr. E. W. Robinson. Robert Anderson, Ander-son, and J. A. Hendrlckson. nnd -In fifteen fif-teen minutes $000 of the needed amount was subscribed, lion. Joseph Howell leading i lie list with J10O0. The proposition Is to extend the lino frcm tho Oregon Short Lino depot up Center street to tho Agricultural college, from north to south on Main street to the Eccles sugar beet factory, and possibly possi-bly take in the towns ln the south end Ot the valley.
