Since turning over to others IiIm Interest In the Hotel Angeles, on Jum? 1, for which ho received the snug sum of $250,000, Mr. Holmos has been engaged In straightening up his other Interests In the California city that he might be able to transfer his personal attention to his Salt Lake City and Utah Interests. In tho Hotel Knutsford during tho next few months, Mr. Holmes will develop some of his Utah mining properties, ho that he expects to bo comfortably busy even though he has but one hotel on his hands. "Although my two and n half years' experience In Los Angeles was -ery gratifying from every standpoint," Raid Mr. Holmes last night, "1 am very glad to get back to Salt Lake. My greater Interests are here and I expect to make it my permanent headquarters. My first work now will be to improve the Knutsford. Knuts-ford. It will be changed to the European plan, as well as American, and will be largely refurnished. One of the owners of the proporty will be here within the next three weeks to perfect plans for the addition, and I have no doubt that It will be built. I have unlimited faith In Salt Lake City and am determined to make the Knutsford a credit to the city." |
