DELEGATES to the Republican third Judicial District convention, conven-tion, which Avlll bo held In this city the 10th Instant, were named at the several election district primaries last night. At several places there were spirited contests and much interest was generally gene-rally shown. The chief contest was for District attorney, the candidates being Fred C. Loofbourow, Eenner X. Smith and Col. M. M...Kaighn. In the Salt Lake districts, the majority of the delegates del-egates arc believed to be supporters of the candidacy of Loofourow, while Smith has most of the out-of-town delegates. del-egates. The Kalghn following isi said to be considerable and some believe the Colonel will develop much strength by the lime of the convention. Judge Charles W. Morse Is conceded to have enough of the delegates to be nominated almost unanimously. Judge T. D. Lewis is a close second and the other two candidates for the judgeship will be named from the following: George F. Goodwin, C. S. Kinney, M. L. Ritchie, D. H. Wenger. G. G. Armstrong. Arm-strong. C. S. Patterson, H. S. Tanner and Dan Harrington. The evening before the convention, the third Judicial District committee will meet at S o'clock, at the Kenyon hotel to select temporary officers of the convention.
