UTAH BAND CONCERT NOT WELL PATRONIZED The audienco at the Salt Lnke theater Inst evening was disappointingly small, but was most appreciative and received with enthusiasm the fine programmo given by the Utah State band under the direction direc-tion of Prof. Anton Pederscn. An especially especi-ally pleasing number was tho unfinished symphony by Schubert, which wus given last night by special request, and was received re-ceived with evon more enthusiasm than was manifested at the time It was rendered ren-dered at the Tabernacle by the State band Another very popular number was tho medley of Scotch airs. Mlsra Segrld Poder-sen Poder-sen was thr vocal soloist of tho evening nnd was encored at tho close of both numbers. She responded after the first number with a delightful rendition of the "lrlHh Love Song." but merely bowed her acknowledgomeat In response to the very enthusiastic applause which followed her second number.
