CLAIMS NEAR LOGAN Salt Lake Man Locates Some Promising Promis-ing Property A group of claims has just been located lo-cated about three and onehalf miles cast of Logan by A Smith the well known mining man known as the May Day Ncs 1 and 2 The claims have been opened to a depth of about four feet disclosing a sixfoot vein of ore from which assays have been taken showing values of 330 to 21 in gold I The ore seems to be a good leaching proposition on the surface The ledge can be traced for a distance of 3000 feet Mr Smith has already had several sev-eral propositions to purchase but he thinks he has a good thing to tie to I for awhile
