| Show PROSPECTIVE DIVIDENDS Advices From the La Seine Say It Is a Bonanza A mine in the Tintic district slated to become a great producer is the La Rcine whIch has been operated and developed from a mere prospect under the management of A S Day There Is scarcely any doubt that the property prop-erty will make a big showing for itself within the present year and the recent strike makes it evident that it will not be many months before the mine will be entered in the list of dividend payers Advices received from the mine last evening state that the disclosures of ore made In the last few days are far beyond the expectations of the officers of the company So far the vein has shown a width of about eight feet from which values of over 100 ounces silver with other riches in the shape r of gold and read and as the tunnel Is driven along values increase There are two veins crossing the property one comes in from the Humbug ground and the other has been opened up in i the Utah The main tunnel has been l headed towards the same vein exposed in Jesse Knights Humbug from which some very rich ore has been extracted The vein was encountered at a distance of COO fpet from the mouth of the tunnel tun-nel and shows up all the Indications that preceded the discovery of the rich ore in the Humbug The management has been looking for these disclosures 1 for several days past the surface crop t i pings giving every assurance that the ore body was located at about the point where it was found On the r strength of these indications George Sutherland and David Evans took in a block of 20000 shares not long ago tit something like a dollar a share after an examination of the property A second tunnel was started less than V two weeks ago over near the Utah sidelines side-lines to tap the vein A great amount of ore has been extracted on this vein in the Utah ground much of it being highgrade When the two ledges are opened up by the tunnels ore will be extracted f In two places In reality the La Heine will be as good as two mines |
