MICHAEL BURKE June Ceremony On June 26. 1981, Wendy Ann.Worthen became the bride of Michael Lawrence Burke in rites performed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Pres. Benjamin L. Bowring officiated. offici-ated. WENDY IS the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David E. Worth-en Worth-en of Bountiful. Michael is the son of Mrs. Miriam E. Martin and James H. Burke, both of Bountiful. A wedding breakfast was held in the Lion House and reception re-ception at the Eldredge House in Bountiful. THE BRIDE'S gown was of crystal organza with a Queen Anne neckline. It also featured a chapel length train, silk venice lace, seed pearls on the bodice, a ruffle on the skirt, bishop sleeves with appliques on the sleeves. Her bouquet was of silk carnations, peach roses and baby breath trimmed with peach and white ribbons. Beki Wale was maid of honor hon-or with Carolyn Martineau. Fara Kocherhans and Dana Wilson as the bridesmaids. Flower girl was Kari Worthen. THE ATTENDANTS wore long peach colored gowns with full skirts trimmed with white satin. They wore wide brimmed brim-med hats. They held peach roses and baby breath trimmed with white lace ribbon. The mothers were dressed in soft peach gowns trimmed with lace. Corsages were of silk carnations and peach roses. REESE RICHARDS performed per-formed best man duties and Tom Hadlow, Scott Worthen, Brad Worthen and Steven. Worthen were the ushers. Prenuptial parties were given by Bob and Miriam Martin, Mar-tin, Linda Davies, Linda Ever-sole, Ever-sole, Carolyn Martineau and Dana Wilson. BOTH ARE graduates of Woods Cross High and plan to attend Weber State in the fall. The newlyweds will make their home in Bountiful. |
