Show EUGENE A. MADSEN Services . Held For Eugene Madscn Eugene A. (Red) Madse.n, 65, of Bountiful, died June 23, 1981. He was born Sept. 15, 1915 in Castledale Ut., a son of Orson and Sigrid Anderson Madsen. He was one of eight children. THE MADSEN family moved to Salt Lake City where "Red" attended public school. He was a graduate of West High. He married Clarabelle Downey, Dow-ney, later divorced. Married Evalyn Smith June 18. 1949 and that marriage' was solem-nized solem-nized in the Logan LDS Temple. MR. MADSEN enjoyed a very active life, was an avid Fisherman and outdoorsman and the yearly deer hunt with brothers, nephews and friends was among his most cherished memories. Young people loved him and he enjoyed a close relationship with his family. He was an excellent auto mechanic and was a longtime long-time employee of Husky Refinery. Re-finery. He is survived by his wife of Bountiful; a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Sigrid) Eggett. Bountiful; Bounti-ful; sons, Scott E. Madsen, North Salt Lake; Richard D. Madsen, Clovis, Calif.; sister, Mrs. Carl (Flara) Templin, Salt Lake City; brothers, Alma A. Madsen, American Fork; Orrin A. and Orson A., both Salt Lake City; Albert J. Tooele and Ray A..Centervill-e; A..Centervill-e; 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, pa-rents, a brother and a sister. FUNERAL SERVICES were held June 26 in the Bountiful Fourth Ward. Opening prayer by Tiffany S. Madsen; speakers speak-ers were Marci S. Eggett, his wife and three children. A musical selection was sung by his grandchildren, son, Dick, daughter-in-law, Jane, Laura and Arnold Pace. Mrs. Mad-sen's Mad-sen's sister played the prelude and postlude music and accompaniment. Interment in Lakeview Memorial Estates. |
