Show Farmington KATHRYN JENNINGS 451-2027. The Golden Years Jazz Band has come a long way since its beginning, directed by Lillian Schoeler and with . almost 20 members. T This group plays for dancing or listening pleasure each Friday Fri-day from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. in the Center. They welcome wel-come dancers to come and enjoy en-joy two hours of music each week. There are a number of instruments in-struments represented in the band; saxophones, pianos, accordians, concertino, melo-dicas, melo-dicas, guitars, and harmonica. There are also several men and women singers to add to life program. The days for taking blood pressure at the Center are the first and third Thursday of each month. Mark July 2 and 16 for this month. If you have not signed up for theMantitripon July 14. and a tour to Mirror Lake July 29. you may do so at the desk. I2-I4willbe filled with various events for seniors; sports, cultural, and other activities. Those planning to attend the Festival should sign up and fill out forms right away. Details of classes and categories categor-ies will be given as soon as they are available. A family reunion was held Saturday at the home of Carlos and Katie Cunningham in Farmington. They also celebrated cele-brated birthdays of Katie and . son Don Cunningham, as well as Fathers' Day. Attending the reunion wer Don and Erna Cunningham and four children, Logan: David and Sheryl Cunningham and children, and a married daughter, Lisa and Brian No-land, No-land, Logan; Reuben and Julie Cunningham and two children. Layton; and Ruth Sweat and daughter Carolyn, and Chris . Cunningham. The entire family was present pre-sent except Lt. Col. Leonard and Delores C. Moon and children chil-dren who are still living in Belgium. Bel-gium. This family formerly lived in Farmington and have been in Belgium for the past two years with one more ytar to serve. Leonard is with NATO Forces stationed at SHAPE with headquarters in Mons, about 30 miles soulh of Brussels. The Moon family has just vacationed in Bern, Switzerland Switzer-land and Berlin. Germany and Heidelberg and Berchestagar-den Berchestagar-den in Germany. |
