Kr : i ! f';" x (I J7 K 'Vivi - ' - c I f v-'' W 1-r w' SUMMER BAND Getting ready for summer band at Bountiful Jr. High are Rick Newton, drum; Aimee Anderson, flute; Shane Rich, trumpet, and Lance Rich, trombone. and concert band students are required to take summer band. All students who attend Bountiful Boun-tiful Jr. High are invited to take advantage of summer band classes, which will be held in Rooms 34 and 33 at Bountiful Jr. High. For those students who still have not registered, it will be possible to register the first day of summer band. Summer band at Bountiful Jr. High starts July 6 with 150 students expected to enroll. The five-week summer band program features several class offerings that teach fundamentals fundamen-tals of performance and music reading skills. Class offerings and time are: BEGINNING flute, 8 a.m.; beginning trumpet and cornet, 8:45 a.m.; beginning horn, 9:30 a.m.; beginning trombone, baritone, tuba, 10:15 a.m.; beginning be-ginning clarinet and bass clarinet, clar-inet, 11 a.m.; concert band, 12:30-1:30; cadet band, 1:15-2 p.m.; beginning saxophone, 2 p.m. Dan Rich, Bountiful Jr. High music director, states that all students who signed up for beginning band in the fall |
