Show State Finalist ...M.m a member of a mixed ensemble and went to state competition at BYU, taking a superior rating. A fourth year French student, stu-dent, she plans to go to Europe after graduation to continue her studies in that language. She is involved in church activities acti-vities and is counselor in her Laurel class. She enjoys snow and water skiing, horseback riding, swimming and collecting collect-ing memoirs for her scrap-book. scrap-book. SHE WORKS at Lakeview Hospital as a candy striper and will be president of the Flag Corps and a member of Xela, a singing froup consist ing of specially spe-cially selected girls this next year. Bountiful, has been selected as a state finalist fin-alist in the official 1981 Miss United Teenager Pageant to be held at the U. of U. July 21-23. THE INNER of the state finals will receive an all-expense all-expense paid trip to compete in the national finals, a three phase pageant in Hollywood, Calif.. Waikki Beach. Hawaii and Washington, D.C.. where she will compete for $15,000 in cash scholarships, a new automobile auto-mobile for her reigning year, $5,000 appearance contract, $2,000 wardrobe and other awards. Contestants will be judged on scholastic, civic achievements, achieve-ments, beauty, poise and personality. per-sonality. ' LAl'RI IS a student at Bountiful Boun-tiful High where she served as junior class vice president, a member of the Flag Corps, member of the concert choir and PTSA representative and a homeroom representative on the junior committee.
