THE COUNCIL agreed to authorize Mr. Forbush to use his discretion concerning the Mountain View Park improvements improve-ments as funds allowed. By KATHRYN JENNINGS Farmington City Council met July 2 with Mayor E.T. Johnson and four councilmen present. MAX FORBUSH, city manager, man-ager, explained problems of Aegean Village "B" concerning concern-ing the pressure irrigation service ser-vice to the lots already sold. A property owner was present to object to an additional fee for the irrigation water. Mr. Kambouris came in later la-ter during the meeting concerning con-cerning the matter, contracts were reviewed at length on this subdivision. The council requested re-quested Mr. Kambouris to get further information and to clarify clar-ify the contracts. DEAN SWANER was present pre-sent to discuss water improvements improve-ments cost and a distribution formula. Mr. Forbush explained ex-plained the collection of funds for the project with the west Farmington committee. It was decided that the committee will try to work out a fair proposition prop-osition for all concerned. The Land Group representatives. represen-tatives. Frank Leibrock P.E. and Blaine Leonard, engineers, en-gineers, architects, landscape architects, were present to offer engineering services and to compete with future city projects, offering personal services. ser-vices. MAYOR JOHNSON explained ex-plained that Steve White had requested the installation of the old Miller Floral whistle, at Lagoon. For many years the whistle was blown several times each day and was heard throughout the community, and the request was to resume hearing the nostalgic sound of the whistle again. The council agreed to the installation in-stallation of the w histle to be blown at specified times and reappointed Richard Hamblin and Leo Wilcox to the board of adjustments and will appoint another member. THE 100 North Street, east of 200 East was discussed as to the extension of the street. Councilman Grant Ungcrman made the motion that the city put in a road base if the city attorney approved after his in- |
