Show Drivers Licenses: 1st Floor FARM1NGTON Utah's Drivers' License Bureau in Davis County has moved up in the world from the basement base-ment to the first floor of the Davis CountyCourthouse. AFTER A 12-year stint in the basement of the courthouse court-house in Farmington, the drivers' driv-ers' license office recently moved all its belongings to a more airy atmosphere in the northwest corner of the first floor. "We feel that we can better serve the public from this location," loca-tion," commented Acting Superintendent Su-perintendent Wayne Palmer, noting that the new location is down the hall from the switchboard switch-board and Commission offices and "right in the main floor of courthouse traffic. HE SAID the new office is about the same size as the previous pre-vious office in the basement but "this gives us better access to the public and a more desire-able desire-able working condition and space before was not the reason for moving." Mr. Palmer noted that employees em-ployees and customers sometimes some-times had to endure heat which occasionally rose to more than 100 degrees during the middle of the summer and "ventilation "ventila-tion was something to be desired." de-sired." THE OLD office was closed for two days while employees moved furniture and equipment equip-ment to the new office.
