The ladies of the Relief Society have a great basketball basket-ball team going. Linda Whitney, their coach, is looking out for the interest of the women. Before they actually play ball, they have to pass the physical fitness tests. They are really getting into shape for all comers. The officers and teachers of the A. P. Young Ladies' in the Third Ward have entertained the young people at a dinner dance. Danna Mitchell and others of the Viewmont High School have been working on speech meets of different kinds. Last weekend they attended the Wasatch Front Forensic Meet. Kathy and Sam Allman returned re-turned from a trip to California. Califor-nia. The Gary Petersons enjoyed en-joyed a trip to Southern Utah. They and their friends stopped at Richfield and at Manti. Gary has spent the past week in El Centro, Calif, in the Air Reserves. The J. R. Bangerters are building a new home in Bridle Acre Subdivision. They have sold tiieir "old" home. We wish Ken Froyd, son of Mrs. Ralph Wilson, a very happy birthday and a good new year. He was twenty-four this week. Forest Mottishaw, son of Bishop and Mrs. Brian Mottishaw Mot-tishaw will be married to Nancy Ann Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley B. Smith, on Saturday. Feb. 12. in the Salt Lake Temple. They will be honored at an open house at the West Bountiful First Ward Church that evening. even-ing. Carrying on, the West Bountiful Primary Merry Miss classes are having their "Daddy-Daughter" party on Feb. 6. Rexine Rowley is in charge of the event. The Brent Kidmans have been busier than usual. They went down to visit the folks in Spanish Fork last week. Now Kayleen is busy getting her Davis High Drill team ready to march for the March of Dimes at the Salt Palace. She is also busy getting ready for regional marching meets. Lance Samuelson and son came up from California to attend the "Farewell" of his brother Kevin. Prof. Cecil Samuelson, brother of President Clarence and wife also attended the meeting and came to wish Kevin well. Kevin's sisters, Nancy Maughan, Deanne Helquisl, and Clare Samuelson added much to the beauty of the evening with their violin trio of a medley of "O My Father", "I Am a Child of God ", and "Love One Another".
