Show I Golden Years: I Ponder Taxes Taxes are everyone's j business. Come join the discussion dis-cussion with Jay Mitton, local attorney, at the Golden Years Center on Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. EVERY Thursday, 2-5 p.m., Ivor Irving and T.D. Mc Mullen will assist with income in-come tax problems in the ! Center. Bring in any questions ques-tions or problems for this j special service. David Wright of Zions First National Bank gave an informative infor-mative lecture on trusts and ' wills to 128 people in the i Center last week. MEMBERSHIP contributions contribu-tions are now being taken for 1976. Get your cards at the Center. Representatives from Heritage Heri-tage Center in Clearfield and the Golden Hour Center in Ogden, met at the Bountiful Center to organize and form rules for the pool league which match teams from these centers for playing pool. More information will be forthcoming concerning this league. i THERE will be a book review on Feb. 9 at 1 p.m. at the Center. The Center will be closed i Feb. 12 and 16 for celebrating j the birthdays of Lincoln and i Washington. THE MONTHLY luncheon will be Feb. 19 at Viewmont High School. Reservations must be in by Feb. 17. Call 295-3479. Please plan to come to the luncheon at 1:30 p.m., not before, because the school personnel must have time to clear the cafeteria after the students have lunch. The daily luncheons are being be-ing served at the Center each day. Make your reservation the day before you plan to attend. at-tend. IF YOU are interested in attending the Spanish class, call the Center. Volunteers are still needed in many phases of the daily programs. Please call the Center if you can help for one or more hours each day or at any time it is possible to assist. as-sist. LOOKING forward to special events, there will be meetings for rockhounds who desire to make field trips in the spring. Arthritis will be the subject of discussion; Edna Peterson will give a travelogue and Bertha Muir is scheduled to give one of her fine book reviews. Flower arranging will be another interesting subject, so watch for dates of these fine programs for all senior citizens of south Davis County, kj |
