Eighteen thousand dollars from the Community Services Ad minist ration lias been provided for this purpose. Warm blankets and clothing will also be made available to those who need them and are eligible. The I ma Snider, a few days last week, Craig Flint and Miss Vena Brog of Logan were dinner guests of Craig's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Flint last Sunday, They are both employed in Logan. Mrs. Margaret Ledingham of Salt Lake City entertained her bridge club last Saturday evening. There were three guests. They had dinner at a local cafe and returned home for bridge and dessert. Mrs. Betty Power of Foster City. Calif, was a Utah visitor three days last week. She was here to see her mother, Mrs. Emily Eldredge of Bountiful and her mother-in-law, Mrs. William Power in Ogden. George Ledingham of Ogden Og-den was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Youngdell and family and Glen Ledingham. last Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Ethelyn Hatch was hostess to members of the KKK Club last Wednesday. They met for lunch at the ServUs Drug dining room. Bridge was enjoyed following luncheon. Mrs. Wallace E. Hess and Mrs. Frank B. Muir were guests of Dr. and Mrs. Stewart Slingerland and children in Provo last Friday. Enroute they visited the barn style house being built by the Hesses in American Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Willey, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Y'ider and Mrs Cirace Carney of ihe Geare R. Day Prist and American Legion auxiliary attended a district meeting held last Friday evening at the Kaysville Post Home. Plans were made for future district activities. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served. Last Friday evening the American Legion and auxiliary au-xiliary of the (rt-orge R. Day Post sponsored the money making project at the post home. There were 25 people present. Walter Willey directed the bingo games. Virginia Piepgrass won the top prize and then cont nbuted it to the Girl State Droeram.
