Show Farmington By KATHRYN JENNINGS 867-2027 The Farmington First Ward High Priest Christmas dinner and party was held Friday evening in the Rock Chapel under the direction of Melvin and Barbara Blamires. A ham dinner was served to 100 guests with the meal supervised by Jay and Melba Johnson, Jim and Helen LaComb and Ken and Barbara Bar-bara Unsworth. Willard and Nelda Oakeson were in charge of the decorations. decora-tions. Following dinner, the Ogden Og-den Symphony orchestra entertained en-tertained with music for the evening. Special instrumental numbers were performed by Gary Johnson and Scott Blamires. Mrs. Charlotte Nichols and grandson, John Schaeffer, were honored for both of their birthdays on Dec. 9, at a dinner party at the Heidelberg Heidel-berg Restaurant in Farming-ton. Farming-ton. The dinner was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. George Schaeffer of Boise, Idaho who are parents of John. Mrs. Schaeffer is the daughter of Mrs. Nichols. Other guests were DeLore Nichols and Dr. and Mrs. L.W. Walker, Mark and Jamie Walker of Salt Lake City. The Land Group Engineering Engineer-ing Company, Sidney Smith and Michael Bischoff, entertained enter-tained with a holiday party on Friday evening at the home of Sidney and Bernice Smith. The annual family Christmas Christ-mas party of the Hight family was held at the home of Wally and Shirley Hight and Shelley on Dec. 17. A special program was presented during the evening when Dawn Bain, Ellarose DeLong, Karen and S perry Redd presented "Amahl and The Night Visitors." Visi-tors." Later there was a special visit from old Santa. Guests included John and Helen Hight of Nevada City, Calif.; Bob and Leslie Gale and daughter of Provo and Gregg and Audrey Hight, Provo. Rex and Virginia Creer and sons Bill and Wally came from Idaho Falls, Idaho. Jerry and Susan Stevenson and family, Layton; Gary and Janice Hight and sons, Salt Lake City and Mary Jane Creer, Salt Lake City; Linda Rasmussen and children, Kaysville and from Farming-ton, Farming-ton, Ethel Hight, Walt and Dawn Bain and family, Bob and Linda Bennett and family and Alan and Mona Hight. The Helen Mar Miller DUP Camp met at the Farr home on Main Street on Monday for their annual Christmas party. Hostesses for the afternoon were Wilma Miller, Ethel Perry, Elzada Hess and Alice Johnson. After a lovely dinner, there was a Christmas program.
